Follow the journey of Marco, a struggling high school student who is pushed into the seedy world of drug dealing by his friend Avi. With no other options to keep his family from being evicted, he becomes further entangled in this dangerous business, and he realizes that surrendering to the allure of fast money might come at a higher cost than he ever imagined. Will Marco yield to the temptation or summon the courage to break free from his new life of crime? Discover the answer in the film, 'Green Ice'. Directed by Ben Mattingly. Welcome to our student short film 'Green Ice', a student project that we poured our hearts and souls into over the span of five months. Writer's Block (Old Video)
This a fun short film I made mainly out of preparation for the upcoming film "Green Ice" at the time, primarily focusing on getting familiar with the Sony PXW-FS5, and post-production sound. Credit to Benjamin Mattingly for being the talent.
